El registrador Nacional, Juan Carlos Galindo, informó que el departamento de ciberseguridad de la entidad electoral está verificando si la masiva consulta en la página de Infovotantes, que ha ocasionado dificultades con la navegación, es real o se debe a ataques contra la página web.
"Se está determinando si son consultas reales o hay algún tema de consultas masivas a través de robots”, dijo el funcionario y añadió “en el curso de la mañana hemos tenido demoras en la aplicación ‘Infovotantes’, debido a que hemos tenido una gran cantidad consultas. Hemos llegado incluso a tener 3 millones de personas por minuto, esto significa que la plataforma se vuelve lenta. Pero en estos momentos estamos trabajando con normalidad", dijo el registrador.
De acuerdo al balance de Galindo, hasta el momento ha habido una masiva afluencia de ciudadanos para ejercer el derecho al voto. "Queremos desde ya llamar la atención a quienes no lo han hecho para que salgan a votar temprano y se eviten el problema de las filas que se forman hacia las 4 de la tarde", agregó.
El registrador aseguró que solo en Barranquillita y en El Guaviare, hubo problemas para instalar las mesas de votación por inconvenientes con el traslado del material electoral a consecuencias del mal clima.
Galindo aclaró que en estas elecciones no se vota las consultas anticorrupción y animalista, como se está especulando. Añadió que al cierre de inscripción de testigos electorales se registraron 194.142 observadores de todas las campañas.
