Habitantes del barrio La Enea están preocupados por la presencia de dos perros pit bull que tienen unos vecinos en el sector de la calle 94B, aseguran que a los animales los sacan a pasear sin bozal y tienen miedo porque en la cuadra hay menores que pueden ser atacados.
"El pasado miércoles uno de esos perros atacó a mi perrita french poodle", aseguró una afectada, y que tuvieron que operarla. Los vecinos se preguntan dónde está el control para estos animales.
R/ Los dueños de los pit bull aseguraron que asumirán los costos de la hospitalización del animal afectado.
El intendente de Policía Fabián Hincapié, encargado de la protección ambiental y animal, explicó que según la ley 746 de 2002, sobre la tenencia de "perros potencialmente peligrosos", afirma que no se podrán tener perros de raza "Pit Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier" sin portar bozal. Quien desacate la norma se enfrentará a una multa de 15 salarios mínimos legales diarios ($283 mil 350). La incautación del animal está a cargo de la Secretaría de Gobierno.
